T(w)een Summer Reading Program: Libraries Rock!

The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Local support includes RI Children's and Young Adult Librarians. Special thanks to the Jamestown Education Foundation and the Friends of the Jamestown Library.

The Jamestown Philomenian Library is excited to be partnering again with the Jamestown Schools in order to increase the scope and significance of the Summer Reading Program.

Research has shown that children who read six or more books during the summer maintain or improve their reading skills, while children who do not lose ground by September.

Please scroll down for Thursday night programs and instructions on how to participate in the SRP!
