The Exiles are a Rhode Island-based trio featuring three members of the band Pendragon who have performed together for almost 30 years. The Exiles perform dance tunes, songs, waltzes and airs and elaborate on the cultural and historical context of their music while projecting a relaxed and humorous stage presence. The Exiles feature Bob Drouin on fiddle, and banjo; Torrin Ryan on uillian pipes and whistl and Jay Gilert on Guitar.  The band performs tunes from Ireland, Scotland, and French Canada and also perform original music written in those traditions. the cultural andThe Exiles are a Rhode Island-based trio featuring three members of the band Pendragon who have performed together for almost 30 years. The Exiles are pleased to announce that Barrington’s own Kevin Doyle will join this performance.

Kevin Doyle (dance/percussion) is a National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellow. He achieved this highest honor awarded to an American traditional artist, as a dancer devoted to old style Irish step dance and American tap dance.
