Gould Island Restoration Advisory Board

First meeting of the Gould Island Restoration Advisory Board. Discussion will center on the best way to keep the public informed regarding ongoing environmental remediation work on the State-owned portion of Gould Island and to seek input regarding the project from members of the RAB. This group is comprised of the US Army Corp of Engineer project manager, Credere (contractor) project manager, RI Department of Environmental Management, and 28 local residence and stakeholder groups who were selected as members of the RAB. Jamestown local government and members of the public at large will also be encouraged to attend. Total number of attendees may exceed 100 people but is expected to be less than 125. Audio/Visual equipment is requested (projector, computers, screen) but can be brought by the room users if required.
